Charles Riotto, D.M.D.
Dr. Charles Riotto received his undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1975, and his DMD degree in 1980 from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. He has completed extensive additional training in comprehensive dentistry, including implant and advanced periodontal prosthetic rehabilitation. After serving for three years as a lieutenant in the US Navy Dental Corps, Dr. Riotto returned to his home state of Rhode Island and began practicing at Angell Street Dental Associates in 1983. Dr. Riotto continues to pursue continuing education with memberships in the Seattle Study Club, Providence Plantations District Dental Society, and the American and Rhode Island Dental Associations.
For several years, Dr. Riotto has been recognized in the RI Monthly Magazine as one of “RI’s Top Dentists”. He continues to donate his time and talents to people in need through the Rhode Island Donated Dental program. He has also delivered free dental care to children in need through the Christina’s Smile Mobile Children’s Dental Clinic and is an active participant in feeding the underserved and homeless through the Barrington Methodist Church chapter of Mobile Loaves and Fishes.

Thomas DePetrillo, D.M.D.
Dr. DePetrillo is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School. He later received a degree in chemistry from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. He continued his studies at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1989. Following many years of private practice in Johnston, RI, Dr. DePetrillo joined the Angel Street Dental Team in 2004.
Dr. DePetrillo is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of dental care. A lifelong learner, he has attended many renowned advanced dental learning institutions across the country and studied with various experts in his field. He has had extensive training in advanced cosmetic procedures from both The Dawson Academy and The Clinical Mastery Series. He is skilled in all preventative, restorative, and cosmetic procedures and is a Preferred Provider with Invisalign. Dr. DePetrillo is also a certified provider of Botox and Xeomin for esthetic procedures as well as for TMJ and migraine therapy.
Dr. DePetrillo has been selected by his peers as a RI Monthly Magazine’s “Top Doc” for several years. He is a member of the Providence Chapter of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. DePetrillo also donates his time to people in need through the RI Donated Dental Program and has provided free dental care to children through Christina’s Smile Children’s Dental Clinic. He also provides dental care for Veterans through a government-assisted program.
Dr. DePetrillo lives in Glocester, RI with his wife, Cheryl, and daughters, Lauren, Julianna, and Jenna. He spends most of his free time watching his daughter play competitive softball. One of his favorite vacation spots is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where he enjoys tasting the local tequila.
Rachael M. Gilardetti, D.D.S.
Dr. Rachael Gilardetti graduated from New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) in 2018. At NYU, Dr. Gilardetti was in the orofacial honors program where she gained more experience on myofascial pain, neuralgia, and temporomandibular joint deprogramming. She completed her general practice residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, NY. During her residency, Dr. Gilardetti enhanced her knowledge in treating pediatric patients by identifying and treating space maintenance issues.
While at NYU, Dr. Gilardetti pursued her passion to help people and advance access to dentistry through volunteerism and global outreach, including co-founding a nonprofit mission called Smiles for Ethiopia. The initiative gained traction and support through fundraising and networking, and Dr. Gilardetti and other mission volunteers were successful in delivering dental supplies and aid to dentists at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia.
Dr. Gilardetti has furthered her training through continuing education courses at Spear Academy which teaches doctors effective communication skills with patients and screening patients with obstructive sleep apnea. She has also refined her skills in surgical extractions, bone grafts, and alveoloplasty. Some of Dr. Gilardetti’s interests are TMJ therapy and dentoalveolar surgery. She is also currently enrolled in a two-year implantology program at NYU.
Dr. Gilardetti’s emphasis is on crowns and fixed prosthodontics, simple and surgical exodontia with guided bone regeneration, orofacial pain, and temporomandibular joint disorder. She is Invisalign certified and experienced in treating adolescents, adults, special needs, and patients with dental phobia.
John O’Donnell, Jr. D.M.D., Ph.D., FAAOMP
Dr. John O’Donnell is originally from East Providence, Rhode Island, and is pleased to return to the area following several years outside of New England.
Dr. O’Donnell attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst majoring in Biochemistry and ultimately developed scientific research skills in the field of Quantitative Cell Biology. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and subsequently completed specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
In addition to practicing general dentistry with an emphasis on oral diagnosis, Dr. O’Donnell concentrates on understanding both the subtle and distinct relationships between oral and systemic health.
